Reading

Right now I am slowly digesting A.W. Tozer's Knowledge of the Holy. Tozer has renewed my passion for intellectually pursuing God's truth about himself in a fresh way. I feel encouraged to seek the Lord with all my mind, heart, and soul because of the chapters. Each chapter concentrates on an attribute of God's character. God's personality and character gets challenged on several fronts in life by finite beings including myself who will be held accountable to the Lord. His mercy goes on forever. So many times when I think about God's character, I think of his attributes in relationship to spatial or systematic constraints that skew his true nature. This book does a great job of thinking through God's attributes from the descriptions that God gives to us in his Word.
